A large fern which can develop massive trunks with multiple crowns. Each crown bears a number of erect, leathery bright green fronds. A large specimen is an impressive sight. Very adaptable, and easily grown in a variety of situations and soils.
Parapolystichum acuminatum
An Australian Native ground fern which grows via a tuft or short rhizome. This plant has pretty, glossy triangular fronds which are drawn out to a point.
Drynaria coronans
A striking epiphytic fern with large hairy rhizomes, light brown scales and leathery green fronds to 1m. Excellent for large tubs or baskets. Needs a coarse mixture and a warm well lit position. Do not overwater especially during colder weather. Grow in filtered light.
